A Big Flower crochet purse

Love using Butterfly Mercerized Cotton Super 10, 100% mercerized cotton, 125gr., 230m makes it durable, stout, cheap and there are plenty of colour to choose from.

With the 100% mercerized cotton, hardly any stretchy sign at all.

It's all started with the flower.

I had crcoheted little tiny flowers before but not tis - 1", 2", 3" respectively, sewn on one layer after another. A new try for me and happy with the results.

With the flowers smiling in front of me, a crochet needle (Clover 4mm), Super 10, the body of the purse is crocheted in no time.

Used only single crochet for the "no hole" effect, and wavy pattern(tat what i called), my own design of purse is created.

It is 5.5" x 4.5", no linning needed, with a 6" zip plus a 11" long loopy.

The difficult part i would say is being "bullied" by the zip, "bitten" by the needle a few times while trying to hand sewn it onto the purse.

Well, no pain no gain !

Wah I really like this. Nice colour combination too. It'll make a really great wristlet. Did you crochet this in the round?
