Cross Stitch plus Sewing

I have combined cross stitch and sewing together to form this hand-sewn pouch.

It is 5" x 8", with linning and a 7" zipper. The handle is 13" long. It has a 2.5" wide base .

I love my pouch to have a "bottom".

Cute bag! I used to do cross stitch in secondary school and still have lots of dmc thread left over from those days...

What a nice bag! Very unique and "one of a kind".

Thanks for stopping by my blog the other day. Hope you come back often! We enjoy our garden. We are getting lots of green beans now, and soon lots of red tomatoes. Iowa is made up mostly of good farm quality soil.

You have a nice blog. I have enjoyed reading through it.

The pouch looks great--fresh, sunny and cool at the same time. Congratulations!

Good idea to use the cross stitch panel for a bag. I have a cross stitch panel from long ago, wonder where I put it, might try to make a bag out of it. Thanks for the idea :)

Great job with the cross stitching.
I admire anyone that does anything related to sewing.
