From egg to coaster to pencil case

Granny Square can be big or small, single colour or mulit-colour, and will not stop at just one square.

I crocheted 8 granny squares at one-go, thinking of using them as coasters. However, my daugher loves the colour very much, so i took 4 pieces, a zipper and hand sewn them into a pencil case for her.

Another happy "customer" !

That's fun !
I remember when it was so much fun to make things and then have my daughter claim them.......nothing wrong with that. It makes you feel appreciated ! Believe me, it's no time at all before they're grown and gone and you can keep all those coasters for yourself !

So glad that you and Jayne have such a good time together....and that's one clever pencil case !
